# April 27 : Revamped Website Chat Widget (Web Widget v2) and AI Chatbot Now Works on Your Website

## New Features & Improvements:

### 1.  Revamped Website Chat Widget (Web Widget v2)

What it means for you:

1\.    When a visitor opens the chat on your website, they now see a welcome screen with your logo, a tagline, and quick-start buttons.

2\.    This makes every first interaction look professional and on-brand — no extra setup required.

### 2.  AI Chatbot Now Works on Your Website

What it means for you:

1\.    Go to your Gallabox dashboard and connect your AI Agent to the web widget.

2\.    It sets itself up automatically — no technical configuration needed.

3\.    Your website visitors will now get instant, automated replies around the clock.

### 3.  Auto Logo & Brand Colour Detection

What it means for you:

1\.    When adding a new Website Channel, simply enter your website URL.

2\.    Gallabox will automatically pull your logo and brand colour from the website.

3\.    No need to manually upload images or pick colours.

### 4.  Clickable Buttons in the Chat Widget

What it means for you:

1\.    Your AI bot can now show clickable buttons (e.g. quick replies or links) inside the chat.

2\.    Visitors can tap a button instead of typing — making conversations faster and more guided.

### 5.  WhatsApp Handoff Button in the Chat Widget

What it means for you:

1\.    If you've set up a WhatsApp number in Gallabox, a WhatsApp button will automatically appear in your website chat widget.

2\.    Visitors can tap it to continue the conversation on WhatsApp — without starting over.

### 6.  Returning Visitors Can See Past Conversations

What it means for you:

1\.    Visitors who've chatted with you before will see a 'Recent Chats' panel in the widget menu.

2\.    They can tap any old conversation and continue right where they left off.

What it means for you:

1\.    Head to your widget settings in Gallabox.

2\.    You can now change the brand colour, logo, headline, welcome message, position on screen (left/centre/right), and more.

3\.    You can also remove the Gallabox branding if needed.

What it means for you:

1\.    Before making the chat widget live, turn on Test Mode.

2\.    Preview and check the full experience yourself.

3\.    Once you're happy, switch it live — zero risk to real customer conversations.

### 9.  Bot Flow Count on the Dashboard

What it means for you:

1\.    Go to your Bots section on the dashboard.

2\.    You'll now see a number next to each bot showing how many conversation flows it has.

3\.    Useful for quickly keeping track of your bot activity.

What it means for you:

1\.    When you create a Broadcast, you set a 'Reply To' destination (an agent, team, or bot).

2\.    Previously, only button replies were routed correctly. Now, typed replies are routed correctly too.

3\.    No more replies falling through the cracks — all customer responses go to the right place, every time.
