# December 30 : Pricing changes
What’s changed?
WhatsApp has updated the cost of sending business messages starting January 1, 2026.
#### What does this mean for you?
● Marketing messages
○ Will become cheaper for France and Egypt
○ Will become costlier for India\
● Utility and Authentication messages
○ Will become cheaper for North America
These new prices will be applied automatically to your billing from the effective date.
Where will it be visible?\

You’ll see a notification banner inside the product.\
Clicking the banner will show detailed pricing information.
