✨ New

  1. Custom Role - Role & restrictions

The custom role feature enables Owners and Admins to create and manage roles that meet their organization's specific needs, rather than relying solely on predefined roles like "Admin" or "Member." This feature allows for the definition of specific actions or permissions for users in that role. It is available in the Scale and Pro plans, allowing up to 3 and 5 custom roles, respectively.

Role Settings

Permissions for each module (Conversations, Contacts, Broadcast, Bot, etc.) can be tailored to meet organizational needs, allowing specific user access to be configured accordingly. For example, in the 'Contact role settings,' permissions can be set to enable or disable a user’s ability to:

  1. View and update the contact list

  2. Manage the contact list

Users with this permission can view contacts, edit existing ones, and add new contacts.

⚙️ Improvements

WhatsApp Channel webhook check

You can verify the proper setup of the webhook for a channel in Settings > WhatsApp Channel. To check the channel's health, simply click on this icon.

If issues are detected, the ‘Fix Channel Issue’ icon will appear. Clicking it will properly configure the Webhook for that channel.

Increased Prominence of ‘Latest Updates’ and Canny

The Gallabox home page has undergone some changes, notably enhancing the visibility of "What's New" (Latest Updates). Users can now use Canny to give feedback, view the Gallabox roadmap and changelog, and submit feature requests. Additionally, the home page is now accessible to all users, regardless of their role.
