New Features:
You can now buy or remove add-ons directly from the product page, see richer product details from Meta Catalog in WhatsApp orders through a smart check feature, and opt-in/opt-out behavior option that no longer creates or unassigns conversations.
Buy/remove add-ons from the product page
Goal: Make buying add-ons simple and only show options that match the user’s plan.
Step-by-step guide:
Open Products in your account.
Find the product you want to change.
Click Buy Addon (or Manage Addons) next to that product.
You’ll see only the add-ons that apply to your current plan.
Select the add-on(s) you want and confirm the purchase.
The add-on is applied immediately.


Show richer Meta Catalog product details in WhatsApp orders
Goal: Agents and customers see full product info (ID, description, URL, images) inside the inbox cart and order page.
Step-by-step guide:
Open a conversation that contains an order (inbox cart view).
You should check: product content ID, product description, website URL and images pulled from Meta Catalog.
Click the View Order (or cart) CTA to open the detailed order page for that specific order.

Important Note:
Before: When a customer opted in or out of marketing messages, the chat got removed from the agent/bot, or the system created a new unassigned chat.
Now: When a customer opts in or out, the chat stays with the same agent or bot. If there is no active chat, the system will not create a new one.
